Tri-Council Awards and Scholarships (CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC)
The Tri-Council, or Tri-Agencies, are Canada's three federal granting agencies: the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Science and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.
The objective of the (CGRS M) program is to help develop research skills and assist in the training of highly qualified personnel by supporting students who demonstrate a high standard of achievement in undergraduate and early graduate studies.
2026-2027 Value: $27,000 for 12 months, non-renewable

The (CGS-MSFSS) support high-calibre Canadian graduate students in building global linkages and international networks through the pursuit of exceptional research experiences at research institutions abroad.
